DATE AND TIME FUNCTION IN EXCEL

TODAY: This function is used to insert present date in the selected cell.
Syntax: =TODAY()


NOW FUNCTION IN EXCELThis function is used to insert both current date and time in the selected cell.
Syntax: =NOW()

DAY: This function is used to extract only day number from the selected date.
Syntax: =DAY(TODAY())

MONTH: This function is used to extract only month number from the selected date.
Syntax: =MONTH(TODAY())

YEAR: This function is used to extract only year number from the selected date.
Syntax: =YEAR(TODAY())
