TABLE MENU IN MS WORD
Whenever we create a new table or select an already existing table, the following menus appear.
DESIGN MENU
Table Styles: The table styles gallery is used to apply a selected table style from already existing style templates.
Shading: This tool is used to fill color in selected A Cell, A Row, A Column or in selected A Table.
Draw Table: This tool is used to manually draw a table by using pencil tool.
Eraser: This tool is used to erase any selected element of a table.
LAYOUT MENU
Select: This option is used to select A cell, row column or a table.
Properties: This option is used to change any selected table default settings.
Delete: This tool is used to delete any selected cell, row or table.
Insert Above: This option is used to insert a row in the top of the selected row.
Insert Below: This option is used to insert a row in the below of selected row.
Insert Left: This option is used to insert a column on the left side of the selected column.
Insert Right: This option is used to insert a column on the right side of the selected column.
Merge Cells: This option is used to create a new cell by merging all selected cells.
Split Cells: This option is used to divide a selected in a number of sub-rows and columns.
Split Table: This option is used to divide a selected table into two sub-tables.
AutoFit: This option is used to automatically resize all columns size of any selected table, according to its text size or according to the window size.
Distribute Rows: This option is used to resize all rows to equal size of any selected table.
Distribute Columns: This option is used to resize all columns to equal size of any selected table.
Alignment: This option is used to change the alignment of any selected cell's text.
Sort: Sorting is a process that is used to arrange selected data items in ascending or descending order and this tool is used to perform sorting in selected column's values.
Convert to Text: This option is used to convert any selected table data in the simple text.
Formula: This option is used to insert a mathematical formula in selected cells values.
