INTRODUCTION TO JAVA
WHAT IS JAVA
Java is an example of high level programming language and it is based on OOP (Object Oriented Programming) concept.
It is developed by "James Ghosling" at Sun Microsystems.
APPLICATIONS OF JAVA
1. Desktop Application: Java can be used to create different types of desktop (computer based) applications like (PDF Reader, Media Player, Antivirus, etc.
2. Web Application: Java is also used to create different types of websites by its popular component, JSP (Java Server Pages)
3. Smart Phone Application: Nowadays Java is more popular by its Android feature and as we know that at present, Android OS is backbone for all types of smart phones.
4. Embedded System: We can create programs for different types of smart electronic devices such (Ac, Refrigerator, Washing machine, Television, etc.) by using Java programming language.
